Our Story
Welcome to Ma's African Kitchen — authentic Nigerian food, made with love.
For over 18 years, food has been at the heart of what we do. What began as a small, family-run business has grown and evolved through the years — from our early days serving the local community, to three years as a much-loved café, and now into a new chapter focused on delivery, events catering, markets and pop-ups.
While our café chapter has come to an end, Ma's African Kitchen is very much here to stay. We're simply taking the food we love in new directions and bringing it to even more people.
Our food
We specialise in authentic Nigerian cuisine, inspired by traditional recipes, family cooking and the flavours we grew up with. From comforting classics and hearty rice dishes to soups, sides and traditional favourites, our food is prepared with care using quality ingredients and plenty of flavour.
